MITELIER® is a biocompatible, biodegradable collagen biostimulator that supports fibroblast activity and endogenous collagen production through Poly-L-Lactic Acid particles applied under the skin.

After application, as the solvent liquid is absorbed, cellular activity increases around the PLLA particles remaining in the tissue, supporting the gradual formation of new collagen fibres.

Reconstitution

Method 1

Using an 18G sterile needle and a 5 ml syringe, add 5 ml of sterile water for injection (WFI) to the vial.
Wait 3 hours (full hydration); do not shake during this time.
Immediately before use, shake gently until a homogeneous, semi-transparent suspension is obtained (a single-vial shaking device may be used).

Method 2

Using an 18G sterile needle and syringe, add 5 ml of sterile water for injection (WFI) to the vial.
Shake thoroughly for 1 minute.
Mix with a roller mix (roller mixer) for 29 minutes.
Add a further 3 ml of sterile water for injection (WFI).

During treatment, a 23-26G sterile cannula or a 23-26G sterile needle is used, depending on the intended use.

Injection Technique

Mitelier favours the Fanning technique in the supraperiosteal or subcutaneous plane. Other techniques that may be used: linear threading, depot, crosshatching and layering.

Vascular and nerve safety: use of a blunt cannula, appropriate injection depth, aspiration technique, slow injection in small amounts.

Entry: local anaesthesia is applied to the face; a 23G needle for the entry point; an atraumatic blunt cannula 23-26G 50-70 mm; 1% lidocaine is used if necessary.

Full Face and Sessions

For the full-face protocol, one vial (8 cc) per side; on average 2-3 vials are applied to the face.
The procedure is repeated 3 times at 4-6 week intervals (generally 2-3 sessions).
